Now available on DVD! Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kevin Moore (aka Keb' Mo') takes students on a powerful journey into the world of traditional and contemporary blues guitar. He begins by showing how turnarounds and harmonized scale passages can be the basis for developing fluid phrases in a Robert Johnson-style blues tune. Keb' then teaches two originals, both employing a rhythmic alternating bass style as well as some jazz-oriented chords that add spice and interest to the songs. Switching to his National steel guitar, he then discusses the basics of slide technique, rounding out this exciting blues lesson. Songs include Delta-Style Blues, Perpetual Blues Machine, Angelina and Henry. 75-MIN. DVD * LEVEL 3 * INCLUDES TAB.

  • July 25, 2006 Move the Cam or the Nuckles Please!

Would have been enjoyable and instructional if, I could have seen the finger placement. The cam angle hides the lesson behind Keb's big shining Knuckles. [Angered] me after 30 min of thinking he should have declined doing the video if he did not want to give up his moves...

    and seecrets.

  • April 12, 2005 Excellent!

Excellent! There does not seem to be any sheet music available for Keb Mo, but this is even better. If you are in to finger style blues guitar playing, you will love this. Keb Mo is very good guitar teacher. He teaches guitar licks in “E, “Kindhearted Woman. He explains...

his finger picking techniques with complete tabature for Perpetual Blues Machine, Angelina and Henry. Henry would have not been my first choice for showing his slide techniques in open “E. Overall, it is a bargain.
