I'm rather impressed with the "note-for-note" transcription books I've bought. If you're paying attention to a recording, they are (as close as can be) accurate to the PIANO as played by the artist. This is not beginner music. If you are an extremely talented beginner...

, then you will be able to work your way through them, however what some talented beginners fail to realize is that beginner music is in five-finger positions generally, with very little movement. Rock piano is late-intermediate, and this book fits the bill. Great for parties or singing to yourself.

  • February 10, 2012 don't buy it

I should have looked at the reviews before I waisted my money. They are not written even close to the original. What a waist of sheet music!

  • February 18, 2009 really great arrangements

This book is really great. Really well done and true to the original charts. If you have the piano chops you can sound just like Billy!

  • July 01, 2008 Good but could be better...

The only problem with this book is that Billy puts most of the meledy into his lyrics and solo instruments... This book DOES give you an extreamly close version of what billy plays, but you have to remember that Billy has a band that usually plays with him... I like...

the book either way, its very nice, but I just wanted to put that thought out there for other people buying this book.
