  • May 05, 2011 Big Book of Irish Songs

This book has a nice balance of lively and more thoughtful Irish Songs. It is a book that I will keep in my library to bring out and play through each year. It has a good mix of tunes to entertain an audience as well.. The bass is fairly easy...

in most of the pieces, but the treble has more challenges and keeps the arrangements interesting to play.

  • December 10, 2008 Review of The Big Book of Irish Songs

Overall the book was very good and met my expectations. I use this music for my keyboard performances at various locations, and selected it specifically for St. Patrick's Day events. It will serve my purpose well.

  • May 06, 2008 It's exactly what I wanted

I was pleased with the book I purchased,. The music was what I was looking for, traditional songs, or at least songs that were familiar to me, a second generation American (Canadian Parents)I am not a great musician, but I can read music and play piano and guitar minimally...

, and this book was easy and accurate.I bought it because I am teaching myself to play the piano accordian, and it works for me. Sincerely, Paula Bouffard
