  • February 06, 2012 can be hard

it's mainly not to be done to play most of the songs on your own, but that is to be expected with 2 lead guitar players, anyhow it still is a treasure to find out which chords and techniques are used..

  • April 15, 2008 good instruction for intermediate players

This video is excellent for learning the important parts of these songs. It does assume some level of ability and may be a bit frustrating for beginners.

  • June 09, 2004 You Will Need the Book

I too was disappointed with this DVD. The camera angles make it difficult to see exactly what the guy is doing on the riffs, and there is no tab. For the beginner, you will find it frustrating that the slower version is still hard to catch. You will definitely need...

to buy one of the books with the song in tab to find out exactly what is being done. I actually e-mailed the publisher to complain about the lack of tab. The explanation was that there are differing licenses involved and adding the tab is cost prohibitive. But, like I said, you will need to buy a tab book with the song or else go on line and look for one of those homemade tabs where the person "thinks" this is what is being played.

  • June 06, 2004 Only covers highlights, but does it well

I purchased this DVD on a whim, and haven't been disappointed. Although the DVD covers only selected elements of each song, I believe it does so well. Beware, however, you will need to study the orginal recordings to fill in gaps and to appreciate the nuance of Allman Brother...

    's style.
