  • August 19, 2012 I Enjoy the Variety

I've grown to love all of Mark Hayes work. Some of it is too difficult for me to master (I'm a self taught pianist), but I really enjoy this book. I have 4 pieces I've been working on that are so much fun to play...they make...

me happy. That's the purpose of music don't you think?

  • May 11, 2011 Immediately useable

This is a good set of accessible arrangements that can be put to use immediately. The arrangements are tuneful and without a lot of embellishments, like florid arpeggios, that require more advanced technique. The Tribute to America I find useful when I play the piano at the local airport. People...

often stop and comment on these tunes.
