The third movement of a major new work by Robert W. It's indicative of a highly creative period for this young American composer.

My Daughter played this in their High School Band. What a wonderful piece. As you listen to it imagine the death of Jesus, then his Resurrection, and his Ascension in to Heaven. As in the actual event, very moving & powerful! And I'm not especially devout.

I am a student in my school's top band and we are going to play this piece for a concert. Tonight was the first ever time I've played it, let alone heard it. Let me tell you, NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAS A PIECE MOVED ME IN...

THE WAY THIS PIECE HAS! I strongly recommend it for any advanced wind ensemble.

The piece has a divine and absolutely wonderful feeling to it. The trumpet solo at the beginning and the allegro all fit wonderfully together to make a great musical experience for any band. I played it a long time ago, but have always enjoyed the recording.
