  • March 10, 2010 More than pleased!

I bought this book to see Dolphin Dance in score and I was not disappointed. It is the full piano part of an actual recording. Let me say that I have no interest in widely known popular song arrangements. I was more that pleased to find full scores of other...

pieces as well, "You Must Believe in Spring," and "I Will Say Goodbye." I'm hooked on Bill Evans riffs!

  • June 21, 2007 Very Good

Great artist, good transcriptions, although because Bill has recorded many copies of his songs, the version your looking for may not be there.

  • March 08, 2007 Insights into the music of a master jazz pianist

Bill Evans' work has been a source of pleasure and admiration for decades. Here's a visual insight into what we've been hearing. He's better than we thought. I got this for a friend who's been studying jazz piano for two years after playing classical since childhood...

    . She's delighted....I plan to order Vol 2 soon.

  • October 25, 2005 I play it every day

There are numerous wonderful Rubato pieces that can be quickly mastered, especially if you have the original recordings. My favorite pieces include "Never Let Me Go", "A Time for Love", and "Seascape". Playing these pieces can be mood altering and conciousness expanding. Some of the swing portions of songs can...

be difficult, but this book will provide me with a good challange for years to come.
