For beginners age 6; teaches how to count two-eighths, quarter, half, whole, and dotted half notes, the C, D, E, F, G, A, B, Eb, Ab, F#, Bb, C# keys in relation to the black keys, not just a few keys around middle C. The book includes 132 pages; 33 original compositions with corresponding theory fun sheets. Includes five 5-piano ensembles (4 student parts and one teacher's part). "Menehune" means "little elf" in Hawaiian, and this is the perfect course for all your younger beginning students age 6. Students sing and play out loud as a group from the first lesson like a piano orchestra, so playing with other musicians is not difficult for these students. The Menehune course can be taught in 15 lessons.
