About Suzuki Method

The Suzuki Method is based on the principle that all children possess ability and that this ability can be developed and enhanced through a nurturing environment. All children learn to speak their own language with relative ease and if the same natural learning process is applied in teaching other skills, these can be acquired as successfully. Suzuki referred to the process as the Mother Tongue Method and to the whole system of pedagogy as Talent Education. The important elements of the Suzuki approach to instrumental teaching include the following:an early start (aged 3-4 is normal in most countries); the importance of listening to music; learning to play before learning to read; -the involvement of the parent; a nurturing and positive learning environment; a high standard of teaching by trained teachers; the importance of producing a good sound in a balanced and natural way; core repertoire, used by Suzuki students across the world; social interaction with other children.     I started playing he Violin at the age of 10 and I have always loved I this is one of my favorite suzuki books if you don't like this book you should put down your violin.

    Suzuki Violin Books have helped me alot....I have been playing violin sice I was 6 and now I am 13...wow the amazing results you get from learing how to play the violin is mazing and learning new songs everyday and playing in concerts every 2 months is so...

    so so so so so so awesome.

    i have been playing violin scince i was 5 years old, now a 15 year old in florida, these suziki method books are totaly amazing! they have helped me learn scince i was 5,which led me to being a concert mistress at all state orchestra (florida) totaly amazing! i...

    cried when i finished them. they put the best songs in one book for you! Suzuki knew what he was doing! haha.
