I have been using this method for several years. It is from the UK so can be difficult to get, but is well worth the wait. The music is wonderful, the lessons creative, backed by sound educational principles. Concerning the 'Frog,' because this book is published in Great Britain, and...

used primarily there, there are various term differences. For example our quarter note is called a 'crochet,' half note is semi-breve, etc. It actually makes it more fun having a different perspective!

This beginning violin book is not as fun or as well designed as Adventures in Violinland. I was very disappointed.
