  • January 23, 2009 Play like Carlos . . .

or you can play his songs with your own twist. Mr. Santana has been one of my favorites since the "oye como va" and "black magic woman" days. This is simple to understand for even me and has TAB below if you can't read notation. Has the songs of...

    the "Supernatural" CD.

  • July 10, 2005 Probably the best book i've ever bought

This book is so accurate. Its deffinately a challenge though. Carlos Santanas one of the best guitar players and I think hes very underrated because whenever you hear of the best guitar players people will bring up Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton etc... and most of the time...

they don't meantion Carlos Santana. I've had this book for a week and have been playing from it every day and since I bought that book i've gotten faster and better at playing leads. Get this book it deffinately helps and you won't be dissapointed.

  • September 26, 2004 Practice Practise Practise

Great help and a must to start to play Santana's music. Pick a few songs and learn the first few lines. Practise over and over again. When you have it, and are faster, add a few more lines until you can play the song. I have been doing this...

for 3 years and now have 8 songs half way through and 2 90% finished. Carlos's music is the best. Wish he would put more out on the market.

  • September 15, 2000 Santana is the Absolute Guitar Master

This book is incredible and I couldn't say enough about it! I wouldn't recommend it for beginners because this is Carlos Santana we're talking about here, a musical genius, and it's hard stuff. But for those of you who like a good challege, this book is...

a must. The translations are very good- I don't think it's possible to get much closer to Santana's original work as these transcribers did. For you Santana fans and guitarists- THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO OWN THIS BOOK. Santana is truly amazing!
