This book has been very popular with my students. They especially love the Cha Cha Chopsticks, I can win over any student with that one. I keep it on hand as a choice for festival pieces or for recital pieces for kids who are less classically inclined.

  • January 15, 2012 Great for teaching

What i love about this books is that it provides very easy note reading - lots of single line melodies -- and yet it avoids hand positions. In fact, the hands move around quite a lot, which strengthens note reading tremendously. This is an enormously useful book for students learning to read...

notes. And, the pieces are inspiring and appealing. Students like them.
