My favorite composer is John Williams, so this is a perfect fit. Please continue with John Willaims movie themes and the like. Thank you.

    Difficulty Level:
  • September 25, 2008 Thank you

I bought this for my 13 year old son. He loves it. Just a couple of songs is a little hard, but he can play the majority of them. He plays more now since I have purchased the book, He wants to practice more so he can play the songs...

that is just alittle hard for him right now.

    Difficulty Level:
  • January 15, 2008 As a gift for a dedicated novice trumpet player

I purchased this for a trumpet player who has only been playing trumpet for about 18 months (age 12). He requested the music, and did fairly well sightreading the music for the first time. I have never known a youth to open a gift and go get the trumpet to...

play - immediately. From others who were listening who were more 'instrumentally-talented', they felt he should not try the more difficult notes until he has had more practice and time to work on his technique on the more difficult notes. I was surprised that he was able to do as well as he did, considering the reviews I read at this site, indicated the music was for intermediate/advanced, before ordering this collection.

I'm a 7th grader from TX and this is my third year playing the cornet and I'd have to say it was "kinda hard" but I learned it pretty fast and then it was awesome.
