It has all the great songs from the movie and the way it is arranged is amazing. It is a great addition to my library

  • November 06, 2007 Really nice

Some people wrote that its the wrong notes for the piano. I'm a singer and for me it works out great. It's really fun to sing along. If you love to sing the musical, then by all means buy it. Great!

  • October 07, 2006 A genuine treat

If you are looking for some fun while taking a break from more serious fare, this is not to be missed. If you liked the songs from the movie, you'll have a blast playing these tunes (even more fun after a couple of beers). I agree with earlier review...

...these songs can make you break a sweat when played at (mostly) fast tempi. Don't expect the finest arrangements (Brian Boitano has been transposed a step--but I'd hate to have to attempt that tune in B maj.), but for a good time with a few yuks, don't miss this. Has lyrics I thought I'd NEVER see in print which makes it all the more fun. You want serious, play Schumann or Berg; you want a treat, you could do worse than getting this volume. I was completely satisfied.

  • September 11, 2006 I Don't THINK So!

Perhaps I have an older edition of this book, but whatever the case, at least three songs are transcribed in the wrong key (not the same as the dvd, which I can play along with.) and the theoretical chord formulas don't add up. If anyone can help clear up...

why this is, please let me know. I'm a music teacher, and I just don't understand.
