Composed by Demetrio Bonvecchio. 21st Century,Romantic Period,Contemporary Classical,Modern. Score. 36 pages. Published by Demetrio Bonvecchio (S0.78029).

This is a piece I wrote for my colleagues of the Italian Youth Orchestra (OGI) and they played it with great enthusiasm. It is dedicated to the styles Zappa used in his compositions, the irony of his themes and his compelling use of the quotations (from Stravinsky, Varese, etc.).This is a challenging piece for your Brass Ensemble! The first half is more modal, with an ironic theme. The second part is energetic and full of quotation of Tchaikovsky, Respighi and Mahler. For the conductor: I founded difficult for the horn section to stay in tempo from bar 66 to 75. Spend some time on the tuning for the last part, it is very important.Remember to have fun while playing this music, and breath, there's no limit for the brass!First Performance:22 July 2015, FlorenceMarco Pierobon conducting the "OGI" Orchestral Brass EnsembleDuration: 4 minutesMy website: http://demetriobonvecchio.weebly.com/My Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Demetrio-Bonvecchio/100633090041250.
