    I studied and performed this as a college freshman. True, it's not the most challenging saxophone piece ever written, but it's beautiful, fun, and has challenging moments. It requires stylistic expression and excellent sense of timing when you line it up with the piano. I prefer it to...

    some of the standard college freshman pieces, such as the Creston or Heiden sonatas (not that those aren't good pieces).

  • August 20, 2007 welcome those who wish to be challenged

    im just now moving up in to the ninth grade and i wanted to challenge my self with somthing harder then marching music.its not the hardest of the classical pieces to play but its always a good start and welcoming into the world of classical music
