I bought this for my teenage son, who has had 2 years of lessons. Although he will have to work on his timing, he has been able to play the first few measures after just a couple weeks of practice.

I am a Piano student in my 11th year of study, and this has been one of the most challenging and difficult pieces I have ever played. This is only for the most advanced piano students- the piece requires much skill, stamina, and dexterity. Don't be set back though...

    - it is unquestionably one of the greatest Piano Sonatas ever composed, and it remains my favorite. If you've got the determination, give it a try- if not, I suggest you get it on CD first!
