Composed by Padre Antonio Soler. Arranged by Kim Diehnelt. Baroque. 7 pages. Kim Diehnelt #31679. Published by Kim Diehnelt (A0.809024).

Sonata No. 18 - Dorian Mode Antonio Soler (1729 - 1783) Arr. Kim Diehnelt For violin and cello The sonata, originally written for the keyboard, offers eloquent rhetorical gestures and refreshing changes in colors. Soler was a progressive theorist of modulations and creates beautiful counter motifs and shifting harmonies. Editorial dynamic markings have been intentionally left out to allow for flexible interpretations by the performers. This arrangement is transposed down a minor third from the original version in the Dorian Mode. Duration: 4 - 8 min.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
