Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (1689-1755) was a French baroque composer. This piece is one of six sonatas Op.7 originally written for three flutes. It consists of four movements, 1. Doucement, 2. Courante, 3. Allemande, Gravement, 4. Premeier Menuet, and 5. 2e Menuet. Very chic and full of elegance. Enjoyable to play with not so high skill in technique.
