The violin duets are beautiful. Some quite perky, others slow and legato. Typically the violin 1 is the melody and a bit easier to play, violin 2 accompanies and often has more double stops. After each one, my teacher and I sigh and say 'that's so nice!' or 'that...

    's so much fun!'

Good sight-reading for more advanced players, great to work on for less advanced. Lots of fun to play!

These Duets are excellent for sight-reading for many levels of players. I use them almost daily for my students.

These duets are as fresh now as they were 45 years ago when I studied them. I use them now for my students as both studies and sight reading. Many different levels can play these Duets. Students Love Duets and these sound very professional with a minimusm of practice !

  • October 26, 2011 Charming little pieces

These simple duets are very useful for me as a teacher. They are simple but not boring. Less advanced students can prepare them to play for recitals. For more advanced students, I use these pieces for sight-reading in lessons.
