the printing is difficult to read, the notes are too close together. Fun piece otherwise

    Difficulty Level:
  • March 14, 2008 A delight to play but a torture to read

These pieces are a delight to play but the printing is a disgrace. The two parts are equal and trade the lead. It appears that the printed parts were copied by Mozart's original Xerox machine and then copied a couple times in every year since then.

    Difficulty Level:
  • September 28, 2007 Great - but hard to see

You can't really go wrong with a bit of Mozart - but the font that the publishers have used is very dark, and the notes are squashed together, which means they tend to blend in together. I wish I had of bought the same title from another publisher.

    Difficulty Level:
  • July 18, 2007 Mozart Clarinet Duets-an unusual treat

These Mozart duets are not often heard and rarely played by the student clarinet player. Indeed they are out of print in the UK which is why I turned to this edition from the US. I was very disappointed by the quality of the printing and find some of the...

music quite difficult to read. I am used to nice clear print and this in comparison appears to have been printed with paint onto blotting paper. However, the music, once deciphered, is good to play, though I don't think it will come back into the mainstream repertoire. This edition is inexpensive and at least I have been introduced to some new Mozart.
