Each lasting at or just under three minutes, these chorale preludes are useful as recital repertoire, as well as preludes, offertories, and postludes for church services.
Each piece includes a brief history of the source tune, along with a list of the most familiar hymns that use it. Authorization is given to substitute an appropriate hymn title for the tune name on programs and church bulletins.
Since I am not an organist myself, and most organs are just as unique as their players anyway, registration choices are mostly left up to the performer.
