Sing The Hits Of Diana Krall (Karaoke CDG)

Sing The Hits Of Diana Krall (Karaoke CDG) standards. Karaoke CDG. Published by Pocket Songs (PS.PSCDG1497).

Canadian jazz pianist Diana Krall has a stunning contralto voice and a knack for interpreting classic songs in a manner that is both fresh and faithful to the original. She is also a hell of a songwriter in her own right. This wonderful karaoke collection includes ten of her fantastic songs with note-perfect backing tracks so you can be the star! Take the lead on I'm An Errand Girl for Rhythm, Popsicle Toes, As Long As I Live and more.

Each Pocket Songs PSCDG album contains a complete performance with a professional vocalist as well as the karaoke tracks of each song, for the at-home performer. CDG discs can be played on a regular CD player but require a CDG player to see the graphics.

Should have expected the long instrumental bridges, but somehow didn't. The practice singer was very good and the songs popular Diana Krall tunes, but the arrangements are like the originals and thus have very long instrumental sections (Diana Krall played these on the piano.) It makes for a long...

and boring wait for the singer and, I expect, for the Karoake audience wondering when the singer will resume. Still, if your objective is to learn these songs, the recording accomplishes that. I thought it was intermediate because of the pitch skill needed to pull off singing jazz pieces.
