The Bible encourages singing praises to God and the Christmas season provides the perfect opportunity to do so. In Zechariah's prophecy predicting the coming Messiah, we are told that this is indeed Good News and a time for singing and rejoicing (Zechariah 2:10). Inspired by the prophecies of Zechariah and Isaiah, the lyrics recount the many reasons for singing and rejoicing as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Arranged in the key of C major for a 4-part choir, the vocal ranges are as follows (C4=middle C): Soprano--C4 to C5; Alto--G3 to B4; Tenor--E3 to E4; Bass/Baritone--B2 to B3. The tune is upbeat and easy-to-learn. Duration 2:30.

Though this song is arranged so it can be sung a cappella, a flowing piano accompaniment is available that adds a classical-like 5th harmony (sold separately as a "SATB quartet with piano accompaniment" which also includes separate vocal and piano scores)
