  • April 06, 2012 It is clearly stated

For everyone complaining about lack of horn parts. It is clearly stated this this book only has piano voice and guitar parts. Don't you read before you buy? Some of us rhythm section folks just want to get the right chord structure. Horn charts are available elsewhere. I don...

't think the point of this book is to play these songs as a soloist.

  • June 18, 2008 What is the point without brass ??

TOP music without the horn parts? Why bother publishing a TOP songbook without the brass?? Makes no sense. "Young Man" on a piano? Not.

  • March 07, 2007 Don't waste your money.

I am a Jazz/Commercial music major at Cal-State University, and I love Tower of Power and wanted to play a tune or two for my senior recital. I bought this book thinking that it would be handy for learning Tower of Powers songs. There aren't any horn...

arrangments in here, and the piano voicings aren't even close to the harmony played by the band. This book is pretty much good for nothing but lyrics. Don't waste your money...I'm seriously dissappointed that T.O.P. would release something this terrible with their name on it. Shame on you.
