  • July 25, 2008 Not my favorite

As far as Phillip Keveren goes, this definitely isn't my favorite of all his music. But seeing as Keveren is an incredible arranger, it's still a really great book. A little more advanced than most of his music, but not "showy" so it's still appropriate for church...

. I was quite dissappointed by Give Thanks (a combination of Give Thanks and Pachelbel's Canon in D)which was too disjunct for such a peaceful song, and Lord I lift Your Name on high which was arranged to sound very baroque

  • May 24, 2008 Beautiful music!

I love this book. I'm an beginner/intermediate pianist, so the songs are over my head, but I have used the arrangements for violin performances, and everyone loves them.

  • July 19, 2006 beautiful

this book has a lot of beautiful songs in it, some of them are more on the difficult side, but the songs are so pretty to play in church and everyone loves to hear them. i often get asked to play 'how beautiful' or 'shout to the lord'. they're...

well arranged. (however Lord I Lift Your Name on High is arranged too much to wear part of the song has a different melody.)
