Published by PWP Enterprises (A0.904607).In a style somewhere between Ives and PDQ Bach, the cycle SEVEN LIMERICK SONGS employs good-natured parody of several genres (waltz, tango, tarantella, bel canto aria, march, hymnody, and verbunkos) and composers (Poulenc, Schumann, Rossini, Sousa, Bach, Saint-Saëns, Beethoven, Liszt, and Ravel) as a vehicle for vocal settings of original limericks by the composer. Individual song titles include:

Most of the individual songs are quite short as a result of the brevity of the limerick form. As each song is a self-contained vignette, the cycle lends itself equally well to performance in its entirety, excerpting smaller groups, or singling out individual songs as encores (especially #4 and #7).
