SATB choir, piano (with optional rhythm)
Composed by Keith Getty. Arranged by Stuart Townend. Sacred Anthem, Eastertide. Octavo. Monarch Music #10/3635M. Published by Monarch Music (LO.10-3635M).

Item Number: LO.10-3635M

An infectious melody, exuberant lyrics, and dynamic accompaniment combine to make this one of the most exciting praise choruses sung in churches today. Ideal for Easter Sunday, congregations will be singing this theme long after the service has ended! "And we are raised with Him; Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered! ".

  • April 03, 2012 Great Resurrection Celebration Song

This song provides a combination of great words, a pleasing melody/harmony, and a nice rythmic component. The choir really enjoyed singing it, and the congregation was uplifted by it. It takes some work with the different vocal parts, but the repetition makes it very doable. You will need at...

least 2 men who can read music comfortably. We used just the piano accompaniment, and it was great, although you will need an accomplished pianist to pull that off. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Very interesting arrangment and memorable tune. Fairly easy parts that repeat, so that helps singers who don't sing parts often.

  • April 02, 2008 A victorious start to the Easter worship service

This is a beautiful piece that really started our main Easter worship service in a victorious way. It takes a medium amount of preparation, but is thrilling to perform. Men need to be strong and sure of themselves as they are the voices to start the piece, but the ladies...

have equal importance on the second page. I did not order the rhythm parts as I had an experienced drummer who easily picked up what was needed on the drum set. The set accompaniment with the keyboard added alot. Our choir enjoyed this piece and will probably plan to do it again next year.
