Outstanding--an excellent tool for ease at the keyboard, fingering. Probably an aide in playing music by "ear".

I've been teaching from "Fingerpower" for years and love it as a way to coordinate both hands and build strength. However, I'm a bit disconcerted with the newest revision which adds the colorful border around each page. Great for the eye, impractical because to do it, the exercises...

were revised and cut down to fit the space. Not good. Please go back to what is good and works. Why fix something if it's not broken!! Also...after years of teaching from book three and watching the numerous changes to the front covers in all of the levels, I'm still confounded as to how exercise #3 is still titled "One Note Against Two" when it is quite obivous that the right hand plays a three note chord against the one note in the left hand. Just a small oberservation in the overall scheme of things. Fingerpower still rates number one in my book and has helped to build a strong foundation in technical development in ALL of my students!
