    more: Rythmes de Cameroun. I can't say enough about this book. It's well organized, well written/explained, and has a ton of really challenging grooves--at least to a Western drummer! Even if you're not playing African-style music, this book is guaranteed to help you independence, phrasing and expand your ears to hear rhythmic syncopation that at first seems unnatural but grooves like nothing else once you hear it. I highly recommend this book.
