this dvd was very good. there seemed to be a few mistakes but overall it was good. Jamie helped me to play neil's groove a lot better than just listening to cd's

  • March 01, 2007 Not exactly what Neil does...

I found most of the video useful, however, many of his beats and fills were not exact. For instance, "Limelight" had a few discrepencies in the beginning bars as well as the ending fills. But all in all, it was a useful tool for any Neil Perat "wannabe".

  • March 10, 2005 good for new ideas

overall i found this dvd of good use, it breaks down some of the professors most intricate fills and the drummer who plays the parts is of an excellent standard. i believe that any drummer trying to progress should invest in this dvd as it can only put more quality...

tools in the box. my one problem with this product is that i was led to believe rush backing tracks were provided on the dvd. well they are but the drum parts have not been taken out, it would be fantastic if someone could produce a cd with backing tracks....take note you big corporations! buy it.. neil peart is, for me, the oracle!
