I am definitely a beginner, so I found this to be a little too difficult to be useful to me at this point. I agree with another reviewer who said it would have been helpful to have some of the rhythm techniques in more detail than what was given in...

the little downloadable music book available on the DVD. Rhythm Mandolin may be useful to me later when I have acquired more skill.

Very useful, contains some good information but is hard to follow in some places. Difficult to see the cord progressions. Could use more detail of what and how things are done.

I was very excited when I saw that this dvd was available. I respect JM & his work immensely- and that is why it is so hard to believe that the booklet (which you print out yourself from the disc) does not have the rhythm annotated in it. It simply gives...

the chords that are played for each measure. Yes- you can probaby figure it out eventually by watching the dvd- but give me a break--
