Emotional and excellent music. The Psalm 23, in particular, is an amazing piece of music. Surely not just for the dead, but for the living too.

    Difficulty Level:
  • January 20, 2010 Review of the SCORE and DELIVERY

Firstly, the delivery was excellent. I ordered 30 copies on Monday 18 January 2010, and they arrive here in the UK on Wednesday 20 January 2010. Yes, I picked the 1-3 Day Shipping option, but I was still very impressed. Secondly, if you live in the UK, this score...

is EXACTLY the same as the UK publication (the one with the flower on the front cover). The quality of the paper isn't quite so good, but is FAR BETTER than I expected considering this US score retails at HALF the price of the UK score. I'd recommend getting this score and saving yourself £5! If you live in the UK and have any questions, do email me!

  • February 15, 2009 Amazing Piece

I absolutely love Rutter's Requiem, we have just started rehearsing it for Easter, and I am so excited. A few months ago, we did "The Lord is My Shepherd" from the Requiem, which is a beautiful piece all on its own. In fact, most of the movements of the...

I do like this particular Rutter work. Sometimes he can be a bit "sweet" for my taste but this work hits the right notes for me. This is very singable score for a well rehearsed church choir with reasonable vocal ability. Nothing over the top.
