Renaissance & Baroque Guitar Duets

Renaissance & Baroque Guitar Duets for guitar. Instrumental Solo Part and CD. Published by Music Minus One (MO.MMOCD3604).

ISBN 1596153709.

A great album of duets from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, brimming with sprightly melodies and rich tonalities for the two instruments. Highly recommended.

Includes a high-quality printed music book with both primo and secondo guitar parts; and a compact disc containing a complete performance with secondo guitar on the left channel, and primo guitar on the right channel. Either can be easily removed for your performance pleasure.

    Difficulty Level:
  • August 11, 2011 Excelent

The arrangements work very well for two guitars. Some of the peaces are intermediate, however to preform some of the pieces flawlessly would require and advanced guitarist. It is written by hand which makes it a little bit more difficult to site read, but the penmanship is well done. I...

would highly recommend the CLASSICAL and ROMANTIC duets to go along with this.

    Difficulty Level:
  • May 16, 2011 Good blend of different composers

We liked the mix of composers in this material. Sometimes duets are too simple to be interesting, and we've all had duet pieces too difficult, but these seem a good challenge.
