this is a really good piece. the beginning is a really good tune, the middle is really powerful and shocking, and the end is really the good closer for the piece. just great.

This song was very inspiring to me in Middle School, and it still is today. In fact I'm listening to it now. Two thumbs way up!

This song was, by far, my FAVORITE song in my three years playing in JUNIOR HIGH school band. We played this song with the skill and beauty it took to win in our DC citywide concert band competition. This song was our major piece as a first chair clarinetist during...

my 9th grade year. Now, 13 years later, I still can't forget this overture! The different movements throughout the piece are so beautifully written....even after 13 years, I can't WAIT to purchase this sheet music to play by clarinet AND to purchase the CD and listen over and over!
