"Reflections Past" is a wistful piece, almost in the manner of a movie "love theme". I like to think that the memories here are more happy than sad - perhaps a look back to happier times. It is dedicated to my former student Melanie Richburg Hall, who at the time was a high-school senior and performed a solo recital at the end of the 1998 school year.
