A wonderful, moving and haunting tune. I sang it in high school and loved it then, and now my little choir has almost mastered it. Beautiful and emotional, and the harmonies are as fresh and exciting as I found them to be many years ago.

The first time I heard this song it made me shiver and cry. It was so beautiful and yet mystifying. It starts out so sad and throughout the whole song you feel as if there is something that is missed and you are searching for it. By the end of...

the song, and the last chord, it resolves bringing a new hope. For those who love dissonance, this would be a favorite. This song is one to move an audience. I would recommend that you have a really low bass and really high soprano voices in your choir. Not a lot of vibrato either. I would say that this song would sound the best in a Chamber Choir.
