Quartet #4 Op. 20 in F Major
String Quartet - Intermediate
Composed by Albrechtsberger, Johann Georg. Arranged by Nick Lacanski. Classical Period. Set of Parts, Score. 67 pages. Published by theupperstaff.com (S0.6081).
Item Number: S0.6081
The original was scored for violin, two violas and cello. I have rewritten the original Viola I part for Violin II in order for this piece to be performed with the usual string quartet instrumentation. Included are Violin I and cello parts (original) and the two aforementioned viola and violin II part. I have named this series of publications – “Just the Notes”, simply because that’s all you get. No dynamics, bowings, phrasings, fingerings, etc. This simplifies your editing. There is not a need to erase from the original, or even worse, try to “write over” the original print.
