My classical teacher recommended this book. I use it for daily warm-up. The drills are very helpful for developing technical skills.

I think every classical guitarist should buy it, but I wouldn't recommend this book to a beginner, because there are many difficult exercises. It surprised me because I have discovered that most of my teachers were using exercices from this book for their technical classes.

This is NOT a teach yourself guitar book and a reasonable knowledge of the instrument is a pre-requisite. It IS a masterclass on paper, packed with tips, exercises and information on technique and performance you would only get at a masterclass or workshop with a first rate teacher. And...

all for the price of a burger and fries...! Not sure I'd go along with his ideas on nail shaping though.
