  • December 30, 2010 Pumping Nylon BOOK & DVD Disappointment

I am dissapointed with my purchase of this Book & DVD. It does not give a sound sample or examples or the tunes and practice pieces that are illustrated in the book. As a beginner I would like to have heard examples of each piece. I recommend purchasing the set that...

includes the Book,DVD & CD all together.

  • February 10, 2009 Effective!

I am a beginner both with the guitar and with music in general. I have not had the time to watch the DVD yet. The book is great help with technique where other method books fall short. I especially like the grouping on the Giuliani right hand exercises. I incorporated...

some of these in my warm up like walking exercises for left hand and right hand. It has been helping me with the few pieces I have learned so far.

  • May 10, 2008 A private lesson with Scott!

That's the way I feel after just receiving and trying it. I was a bit nervous that it would be too advanced, I'm a beginner, but his humor and his simple, direct application of the material put me at ease immediately. I'm a mechanical learner and this...

helped me get over some very basic technique mistakes. I can't wait until my next "private" lesson with Scott. In the meantime, I'll go over this with my teacher who is very open to students who search. Great Job!!

The book and the DVD are excellent. Whether the person is just beginning or has some experience, this will help correct bad habits and/or help to avoid pitfalls. The instructor is very, very good and has a great teaching approach. I can recommend this set with confidence.
