I played this piece when I was 13. Funny thing is, I used to think it was really hard, but it was actually not that hard at all ( at least for me) a great showpiece.

  • March 02, 2009 Music with in the soul

The Prelude in C# Minor is one that must be played from with in the soul. The player must attack the notes with precission and understanding of how Sergei played it when he wrote it. He wrote this for others to play. So when I play it I think of...

how he played it, what he was thinking put the two together. This is a wonderfull sheet of music. It is not a song.

  • February 11, 2008 Hard!

I like this peice a lot! I am not able to play it, because it is too hard. But it is a great peice. I would reccommend it to Advanced players, but if you are not advance, i would not buy it.

The Prelude in C sharp minor is a hauntingly cathartic work that is sure to please pianists who are hungry for a challenge.
