Prelude from Suite Bergamasque
Brass ensemble 4 trumpets in Bb, horn in F, 3 trombones, bass trombone, tuba - Intermediate-Advanced
Composed by Claude Debussy (1862-1918). Arranged by Robert Rainford. Score and parts. Published by Forton Music (FT.FM338).
Item Number: FT.FM338
The famous prelude from the Bergamasque suite, arranged for brass ensemble. With rich harmonies and interest in all parts this is a most rewarding piece for a larger ensemble. The challenge is to retain the flexibilty and musicality of the original rather than to just play the notes. Players of about grade 6 standard should be able to start to tackle this piece.
