  • March 17, 2012 Praise and Worship for Guitar

I'm a beginner at the guitar and the difficulty of the music was just right. The album has wonderful worship songs which encouraged my practice and progress with my techniques. I like the chord diagrams included which help with the unusual configurations of 7ths and minors.

  • February 05, 2009 Great for first-time players at church

My 4th-grade student is about to play for the first time at her church and this book is fabulous. She knows many of the songs, and can either play the chords or tablature (or combo of both) using this book.

This is the book I am spending most of my time in, because it is well put together and easy to learn. I only play 9 songs so far but expect to learn everyone before I am finished.

  • September 05, 2008 Yup very nice

I agree with the previous review. I did find that the arrangements were too simple for me but well worth it for the beginning guitarist. I still give it five stars it's a nice book.

  • September 23, 2005 Very Nice Simple Arrangements

This book is great for anyone learning tablature. It helped me out a lot! It's easy to follow and the arrangements are very easy to play. The simplicity of some of the arrangements makes them a bit too simple for a solo piece on their own, but they can...

be augmented by a second instrument (another guitar strumming along, for instance), and some of them are full enough to stand alone as a solo. A couple of them work nicely with an electric solo and acoustic rhythm back-up. Whether for practice or performance, there are some pretty arrangements in this book that are fun to play.
