Unlike other published versions, this contains Elgar's challenging introductory material and finally reaches the well know processional music. Given the usually duration required to enter all the graduates during the ceremony, an effort has been made to distribute the melodic material that will reduce the endurance factor for the lead trumpet. This is a rather advanced level arrangement comparable to a Grade V solo repertoire.
