About Original Sheet Music Edition

Each ORIGINAL SHEET MUSIC EDITION has been arranged for piano by Alfred's talented staff of arrangers. Every effort has been made for the arrangement to be playable on the piano and to sound as close to the original recording as possible. If there are lyrics, a separate vocal line is used so that singers can easily sing along, and all lyrics as heard on the original recording are always included. Almost all arrangements are written in the original key in which they were recorded.

I like listening to soundtracks, and I heard this particular piece a little while ago. I just decided to get the music, because I thought it was pretty good. Overall, its easy to learn - not at all complicated, but not for the beginner, cause there are a few things that...

are a bit tricky. I must say that this piece requires big hands, because at least two instances require reaching over an octave. But if you like piano music, and you like movie themes, I'd recommend it.

  • August 20, 2007 Simple sweet melody

This melody is very uncomplicated and easy to play. In fact so much so that it kind of feels like a "snack" for an advanced player. It's very pretty though, and it's easy to tinker with and add on a little more sparkle.

  • January 21, 2007 Beautiful Song!

This song is simple enough that a player with about a year or two of experience could probably handle it. But the simplicity of the notes combined with the haunting, reflective clarity of the melody makes this piece truly beautiful. Great piece!
