    Difficulty Level:
  • February 11, 2008 Exactly what I needed

This edition is easy to read and is compact enough that it's only 51 pages (I like fewer pages to turn). I used it to arrange for an indoor percussion show, and it was exactly what I needed. I also like it when books have pictures, and this one...

    does, so that's a bonus. :-)

  • July 15, 2007 It is what it is

If you're just dying to have the experience of playing "Pictures", this is great. However, if you know the orchestrated version well, this just feels . . .lonely. Still, it's what Mussourgsky intended originally, so that's important. This is about he difficulty level of hymns, so if you don...

't have trouble with that, this will be, well, little sweat.
