In another book of jazz I had the Evans song "Emily" which is absolutely beautiful. I bought the Piano Interpretations book and found almost every selection to be very unmusical and difficult to hear the melody.

This book realistically captures the essence of B.E.'s style. The book identifies the chord names above the note clusters, which I find helpful in sorting out the piece. If you're not familiar with the tunes in this book, definitely get the CDs to use as a guide...

. You'll need a good bassist and drummer to hold these pieces together.
