The first page of notes shown on the site looks extremely easy to play but look out! The rest of the book is quite a few levels up and written for a much more advanced player.

  • May 03, 2007 NOT WHAT I HAD HOPED FOR..........................

Keeping in mind that Rachmaninoff is not easy to abridge or simplify, I was nonetheless disappointed in this short "chopped-up" transcription of the major themes of his 3rd Piano Concerto. I would have been happier had the piece been longer and devoted more to the development of the various...

themes. Would not recommend this particular transcription.

  • January 09, 2006 Magnificent Piece

This piece was especially hard, but once you know your stuff it becomes easier. I loved how this came within 2 days of ordering it, Fantastic Quality, although a few notes were printed with white spots in them, it was still everything I expected.

    Difficulty Level:
  • July 29, 2004 Hardest piece I've ever played

Learning the Rach 3 was quite possibly the hardest task I've ever undertaken. This excerpt helped me infinitely. I played this in Nordstrom's just last week and I had a huge crowd! Buy it. It's the best four dollars you'll ever spend!
