A wonderful concerto. I love the commanding introduction, and I agree that it could almost stand alone as a solo work. A lot of fun to learn and listen to!! Thanks J.S. Bach!

  • January 17, 2013 harpsichord Concerto in D Minor

Why do you csll it a piano concerto? You should not even call it a "keyboard" concerto, as if it could be played on an accordion. This is the greatest of all single harpsichord concertos. If you call it a piano concerto, we harpsichordists have no literature.

Urtext, so no help with fingering or expression, but a truly wonderful piece. Bach at his best, this Concerto can nearly stand alone as a piano solo.
