  • December 01, 2011 Great piece, hard to read score

Always a favorite, this is a great piece for a high school student looking for a challenge. That said, this edition is hard to read. The performance notes by granger are helpful, but the way it is printed makes it difficult to figure out which staff you're supposed to...

be reading. I would get a different edition.

  • February 21, 2009 Grieg will rock your world

The fingering provided is very helpful, as well as the Ossias clearly explained throgh out the score. I learned the first movement within the first week and a half after getting the piece in the mail. That's how awesome it is :)

  • May 13, 2008 excellent piano music

This is a great edition of Grieg's concerto, especially for someone who is just learning the piece. The fingerings are very helpful (although I don't necessarily agree with all of them), and Grainger's suggestions as to how parts of the concerto are to be played are excellent...

. A wonderful challenge and a must-have for anyone who loves the music of Edvard Grieg.
